Ashlie Neal is a highly respected Clinical Director and Board Certified Behavior Analyst at New Opportunities & Ways, known for her exceptional leadership and proven expertise in behavior analysis. With eight years of dedicated service to NOW, Ashlie has established herself as a trusted professional in the field, recognized for her ethical practice, clinical excellence, and unwavering commitment to quality care.

She brings a compassionate, relationship-driven approach to behavior support, helping individuals learn effective and meaningful ways to meet their needs through evidence- based practices tailored to each client and family. Ashlie firmly believes meaningful progress begins with authentic connection and that impactful intervention goes beyond rigid, textbook models. Her work is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and her guiding philosophy to “be the light in someone else’s darkness.”

Ashlie’s impact extends far beyond direct clinical work. She is deeply invested in mentoring, educating, and supporting teams, earning a reputation for her diplomacy, kindness, and solution-focused leadership style. As a result, she is not only highly trusted by clients and families but is frequently sought out by interdisciplinary teams for guidance, consultation, and collaboration.

Ashlie brings a strong interdisciplinary background in education, counseling, and applied behavior analysis. She earned her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Western Kentucky University and spent five years teaching in general education classrooms with Warren County Public Schools. She later completed her Master’s degree in Professional School Counseling at the University of the Cumberlands and became a certified school counselor in 2017. Ashlie completed her courses in Applied Behavior Analysis through Clemson University in 2020, and has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst since that time.

Ashlie has extensive experience supporting both children and adults across diverse settings and is passionate about advancing values-driven practice within the field. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two daughters, traveling, staying active, and prioritizing family life.
